What is the English Entry Test [EET]?
The EET is an in-house English proficiency test offered only to applicants of AIT. It is designed to measure applicants’ academic essay writing skills. This 60-minute test is scored from 1 to 9.
Note: This test is only for applicants to AIT. Test results will be invalid if taken by enrolled students.
Important: Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. Any copying from online sources or other materials will result in serious consequences.
Requirements for the Online EET
- Equipment and Environment Check
All test takers must ensure they meet the equipment and environment requirements before registering. If these requirements are not met on the test day, they will be allowed to take the exam. No refunds or free rescheduling are available in these cases.
2. Registration Deadline
EET registration closes 10 days before the test date to allow time for setting up the online exam software and procedures.
How to register for the EET?
1. Test Fee: THB 1,000 or USD 33. All payments are non-refundable.

2. Registration Deadline: Register at least 10 working days before your preferred test date, excluding weekends and holidays.
3. Confirmation: Once payment is verified, the Language Center will send you a confirmation email.
Policy for Online EET Test Takers
All online EET scores must be verified through an Academic Writing Placement Test (AWPT), a paper-based test, once applicants has been admitted and arrive at AIT.

Test Results and Additional Support
Test Results: Results will be emailed to both the test taker and the AIT Admissions Office within 5-7 working days after the test date.
Writing Support: Test takers may request academic writing tutorials with an LC lecturer to review the essay writing. To schedule a session, please email Lctesting@ait.asia. The fee is THB600/session (maximum 60 minutes).
- Recommended Program: For long-term improvement in English and communication skills, the Language Center recommends the 6-week Bridging Program.
