Online English Entry Test

1) What is the English Entry Test [EET]?

a) It is an in-house English proficiency test offered to AIT applicants only.

The test result will be considered ‘invalid’ if the test taker is not an applicant to AIT.

b) It tests the applicant’s academic essay writing skills with a duration of 60 minutes. The writing score is given on a scale of 1 to 9.

c) As with all English proficiency tests, plagiarism is taken seriously at AIT. There are serious consequences for those who plagiarize or copy and paste their answer from online sources.

2) What are the requirements for the Online EET?

a) All test takers are required to accomplish the Equipment and Environment Requirements for taking the online EET before they register for the test. Failure to meet the requirements on the exam day, test takers will not be allowed to take the exam. No refund or free reschedule.

b) The EET registration closes 7 working days before the test date. This is due to the need to inform all applicants about the online exam software and procedure a week before the test date.

a) Test takers must pay THB 1,000 or USD 33 for the English test. Payment options are available through the following link: [https://languages.ait.ac.th/payment-options].

NO REFUND for any circumstances once the payment is made.

Policy: Online EET test takers must validate their scores with a paper-based test upon arrival at AIT.

The test takers may request for academic writing tutorials to meet with an LC lecturer to go over the essay writing or prepare themselves for the EET. To receive this server, please send an email to Lctesting@ait.asia. The service charge is THB300/session (maximum 30 minutes).

For long-term learning effects that can help further improve the applicant’s overall English and communication skills, the Language Center highly recommends the intensive 6-week Bridging Program offered from June to July.
