Course Overview
In this course, students are taught the fundamentals of research writing to help them prepare for their research projects and other academic requirements. It comprises six (6) sessions on various topics such as the writing process, developing a topic, purposeful reading, citing sources and describing data. The sessions help enhance students’ critical thinking skills and enable them to use appropriate language necessary in the completion of their course requirements.

Course Overview
Finding information and formulating relevant research questions are the initial steps in the complex process of research writing. Students will learn how to choose a good topic, specify the focus of their research, develop the research questions and identify the key concepts that are essential in their planned research. Incorporating and understanding quantitative and qualitative information is another integral element in the writing of the chapters. Moreover, students will have the opportunity to discuss their writing, get feedback, and share their insights to others. Every student will obtain the necessary support in drafting the three chapters required in a thesis proposal; namely, the introduction, literature review and research methodology.

Course Overview
This course starts with a review of the proposal chapters to ensure that the most important components were incorporated. Students are assisted in various stages, from research design to the presentation and discussion of results. They will be exposed to different important tools and methods which cover real-world scenarios and ethics; thereby, improving the outcomes of their writing. It also provides a practical guide to students in conducting high-quality research.

Course Overview
This course provides a practical and methodological guide for conducting a comprehensive systematic review. Students will learn how to formulate clear research questions, design comprehensive search strategies, and utilize clear study selection and data extraction procedures using appropriate frameworks. The course also covers critical appraisal of evidence, risk of bias assessment, data synthesis and adherence to international reporting standards. By the end of the course, students will have the skills needed to produce, reproduce, and publish systematic reviews that inform research, policy, and practice.
