Important: Exam Instructions — Strict Compliance Required

You are required to carefully read and strictly follow the test instructions to ensure you meet all exam requirements.

Important Notice:

  • We will not provide guidance on how to use Zoom. You must ensure you are familiar with Zoom’s basic features, especially chat and screen sharing, before exam day.
  • No technical support will be provided on the exam day for issues related to software installation, exam link access, camera problems, or camera setup.
  • Failure to comply with the test instructions will result in the termination of your exam. You will receive no score, and there will be no refund or opportunity to reschedule.

Academic Integrity

AIT maintains a zero-tolerance policy for academic dishonesty. Any use of grammar aids, AI tools, screen switching, or suspicious behavior will result in your exam being voided with no score and no retake.

Pre-Exam Preparation (At Least 5 Days Before Exam Day)

STEP 1: Ensure Proper Equipment

  • Use a laptop with a built-in camera or a desktop computer with a webcam for typing your essay.
  • Only one monitor or screen is allowed during the test.
  • Tablets, iPads, or mobile devices are not allowed for typing your essay.

STEP 2: Download and Install Full-Screen Software

STEP 3: Verify Trial Exam Link

  • After installing the full-screen software, please access the trial exam to ensure the link works properly. This step helps confirm that your device is compatible with the online exam system before test day.

On the exam day, the proctor will provide the actual exam link via Zoom chat after approving your camera setup.

  • If you encounter issues accessing the trial exam, contact LCtesting@ait.asia at least 3 days before your exam. Technical support will not be available after this period.
  • Failure to access the exam link will result in disqualification, with no score, refund, or rescheduling.

STEP 4: Familiarize Yourself with Zoom

  • Ensure you are proficient in using Zoom, particularly the chat and screen sharing features.
  • Download and install Zoom on both your computer and the device used for your camera setup (phone or tablet).
  • For more information, visit: https://zoom.us
  • You will receive the Zoom Meeting ID in your exam confirmation email after registration.

STEP 5: Camera Setup

Your camera setup must provide clear visibility of your face, hands, keyboard, and screen. Ensure that your environment is well-lit, quiet, and free from distractions. Position your camera horizontally (landscape mode).

  • Use a phone, iPad, or tablet for your camera setup.
  • Place your device on a stable tripod or phone stand.
  • Set the camera at a height above your table so it captures your entire workspace.
  • Remove all items from your table except your computer, mouse, and keyboard.
  • Unacceptable camera setup will terminate your exam.

  • Join 30–40 minutes before your test time by entering the Zoom Meeting ID (found in your confirmation email) on both your computer and camera setup device (phone/tablet).
  • The exam room will be locked 10 minutes before the exam time. Late arrivals will not be allowed to take the test and will receive no score.

The proctor must see two videos from you:

  • Your face will be verified. If unclear, you may need to show a national ID card or passport.
  • Once approved, you will join a breakout room.

In the breakout room:
