The English Entry Test (EET) is one of the options applicants can use for admission to AIT.
Scoring: Standardized by the Language Center, ranging from 0–9.
Alternative Options: Applicants may also submit any official test scores listed on the Admissions Website.
Purpose: Evaluates academic writing skills essential for postgraduate study, including writing research papers, theses, and other assignments.
Eligibility: Only for AIT applicants; results are not valid for current AIT students.
Format: You will be required to write a well-structured academic essay in response to a general topic. This task is designed to assess your ability to develop and organize ideas clearly, support your arguments effectively, and use appropriate academic language, all within a limited time frame.
Topic: A general academic topic (provided on exam day)
Recommended Length: Approximately 500 words
Duration: 60 minutes
Platform: Paper-based exam
Writing Requirements: You may use a pen or pencil for the exam.
Venue: AIT Language Center, Room 216, Second Floor, AIT Main Campus
Writing Materials: Pencils and erasers are available for purchase at the exam venue if needed.

Your writing score will be sent as a PDF certificate to you and the Admissions Office within 7 days.
No physical copy will be issued.
The score is valid for 2 years from the exam date.
