English Entry Test (EET)
The English Entry Test (EET) is an internal English proficiency assessment administered by the Language Center at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). The test is designed to evaluate the academic essay writing skills essential for success in postgraduate study, including the ability to write research papers, theses, and other academic assignments.
Please note that the EET is exclusively intended for AIT applicants. Test results will not be valid if taken by individuals who are already enrolled as AIT students.
Format: Write an academic essay
Topic: A general academic topic (provided on exam day)
Platform: Paper-based exam
Venue: AIT Language Center, Room 216, Second Floor, AIT Main Campus
Duration: 60 minutes
Recommended Length: Approximately 500 words
You will be required to write a well-structured academic essay in response to a general topic. This task is designed to assess your ability to develop and organize ideas clearly, support your arguments effectively, and use appropriate academic language, all within a limited time frame.
