This course aims to prepare students in planning and justifying their research project, particularly those who not proficient in English. Students will learn how to choose a topic, specify the focus of their research, develop the research questions and identify the key concepts that are essential in their planned research. online discussions and peer reviews will also be incorporated in the course using Moodle. This will provide the students with the opportunity to discuss their writing, get feedback and contribute their views and resources to others. Every student will get enough support in drafting the tree chapters required in a thesis proposal, namely the introduction, the literature review and the research methodology.



Group 1:  for students who are in their second or third semester, and have passed the English Language requirement

  • 31st January – 21st March 2019 (2 hours/8 sessions)

Group 2: for graduating students who are finishing their chapters and have passed the English Language requirement.

  •  5th February – 2nd April 2019 (2 hours/8 sessions)
  •   Tuesday, 3:00-5:00 PM
